You’re About to Change How You Work, Create, and Think
If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed by technology, intimidated by AI, or wondered if you’re “too late” to learn these new tools—stop right there. This challenge was created specifically for you.
You don’t need to be tech-savvy. You don’t need to be young. You don’t need any prior experience.
What you need is curiosity, a willingness to try new things, and about 30-45 minutes a week to invest in yourself.
What Is This Challenge?
This is an 18-week guided journey that will take you from “AI beginner” to “confident AI user.” You’ll learn how to use artificial intelligence tools to:
- Write better and faster
- Create professional visuals and graphics
- Organize your life and projects
- Build systems that save you hours every week
- Make your creative or business work easier and more enjoyable
This isn’t a technical course. There’s no jargon, no coding, no complicated setup. Just practical, hands-on learning that you can use immediately in your real life.
Who Is This For?
This challenge is designed for adults aged 40+ who are new to AI and want to learn at a comfortable, supportive pace.
You’ll love this if you:
- Feel curious about AI but don’t know where to start
- Want practical skills, not theoretical knowledge
- Prefer learning by doing rather than just reading
- Like to work at your own pace without pressure
- Want to use AI for personal projects, creative work, or small business tasks
- Are willing to try new things even if they feel a little uncomfortable at first
This might not be for you if you:
- Already use AI tools regularly and confidently
- Want highly technical or programming-focused content
- Prefer fast-paced, intensive learning
- Aren’t willing to practice and experiment
What You’ll Learn (The Four Phases)
Phase 1: Get Comfortable (Weeks 1-5)
Learn the basics of communicating with AI, crafting powerful prompts, and comparing different AI tools to find what works for you.
You’ll master: ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, and the fundamentals of effective AI communication.
Phase 2: Get Visual (Weeks 6-9)
Explore AI-powered design and imagery to create professional-looking content without being a designer.
You’ll master: Canva Magic Studio, DALL·E, Bing Image Creator, Leonardo, Midjourney, and building visual consistency for your brand.
Phase 3: Get Organized (Weeks 10-13)
Use AI to bring structure and systems to your digital life—from research to project management to automation.
You’ll master: NotebookLM, Notion AI, Trello + Glide, and basic automation with Zapier or Make.
Phase 4: Get Strategic (Weeks 14-18)
Combine everything you’ve learned into personalized systems that support your unique creative or business goals.
You’ll master: AI branding, content repurposing, workflow design, and building your personal AI toolkit.
What Makes This Different?
1. It’s designed for YOUR age and experience level
No assumptions about tech knowledge. Everything is explained clearly, with patience and encouragement.
2. It’s self-paced
Go faster if you’re excited. Take breaks if you need them. There’s no pressure, no deadlines, no falling behind.
3. It’s practical, not theoretical
Every lesson includes real examples and hands-on challenges. You’ll actually DO things, not just read about them.
4. It builds confidence gradually
We start simple and add complexity slowly. By Week 18, you’ll be amazed at what you can do.
5. It’s honest about costs and options
Some tools are free, some aren’t. We’ll always tell you what’s free, what costs money, and whether it’s worth it.
Your Commitment
This challenge works best if you commit to:
Time: 30-45 minutes per week for the lesson, plus 20-30 minutes for the mini challenges (which you can spread across the week)
Consistency: Try to complete one lesson per week, even if you break the activities into smaller chunks
Practice: Do the mini challenges—this is where the real learning happens
Patience: Be kind to yourself when things feel confusing. Learning new skills takes time.
Curiosity: Stay open to trying things that might feel uncomfortable at first
What You’ll Get
By the end of 18 weeks, you’ll have:
✅ Practical skills you can use immediately in your work or personal life
✅ Confidence using AI tools without fear or confusion
✅ A personalized toolkit of your favorite AI tools and workflows
✅ Time savings of several hours per week (seriously!)
✅ Creative possibilities you didn’t know existed
✅ A foundation for continued learning as AI evolves
A Note About “Getting It Wrong”
There is no “wrong” way to use AI.
Seriously. You can’t break anything. You can’t mess up. The AI won’t judge you, get impatient, or think you’re asking dumb questions.
If something doesn’t work the first time, that’s not failure—that’s learning. Every “mistake” teaches you something about how to communicate better with these tools.
Give yourself permission to experiment, make mistakes, and try again. That’s how everyone learns AI, regardless of age or experience.
Ready to Begin?
You’re about to start something exciting. Each Monday a new lesson will be posted. In just 18 weeks, you’ll look back at today and be amazed at how much you’ve learned and how confident you’ve become.
AI isn’t just for tech experts or young people. It’s a tool—and tools are for everyone who wants to use them.
Let’s get started.
Welcome to the challenge. You’ve got this. 🌟
